Residential and nursing

The majority of our homes are ordinary houses or bungalows which blend into their street.

When someone moves to one of our services, we emphasise that it is their home, and endeavour to make it both personal to them and homely.

Residents have their own rooms which they are able to decorate and furnish according to their choice. Houses are modified or have equipment such as hoists to assist people who have physical disabilities or mobility needs.

Registered nursing homes

Our nursing services support people who have complex physical needs as well as a learning disability and who need more intensive support.

We have homes in Kingswood, Winterbourne and St George, each with different specialisms.

All of our nursing homes have a Registered Nurse on duty 24 hours a day and our staff have specialist training in autism, managing behaviours that challenge and medical conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes and PEG feeding.46a Court Road

Person-centred planning is a core part of our service and the support we provide continues to evolve to meet people’s changing requirements.

In all of our services, residents are encouraged to pursue their own hobbies and interests and to make their own decisions where possible.

We also have services for people whose emotional needs may
cause them to behave in a socially unacceptable way and who need skilled staff to help them understand the world in which they live. Find out more about our services for people with behaviours that challenge.
