To celebrate Milestones Trust’s 40th anniversary this year we’re inviting everyone to take part in our 40 for 40 fundraising challenge!

What is the 40 for 40 challenge?

The 40 for 40 challenge is all about getting sponsored to complete an activity linked to the number 40, helping raise vital funds for Milestones Trust.

You can take part individually or as part of a team.

Challenge ideas

  • Walk, swim, run, cycle, or exercise every day for 40 days
  • Complete 40 kilometres over a set period
  • Cycle from Trust office to Bath and back (approx. 40km)
  • Bake birthday cupcakes and sell them to your friends
  • Or get creative—any challenge linked to 40 counts!

What do I need to do?

1. Choose a challenge
Pick something based around the number 40 that suits you

2. Set up a fundraising campaign
Use our JustGiving page just click the ‘Start fundraising’ button and follow the instructions.

3. Tell us what you’re doing
We’d love to hear about it! Email fundraising@milestonestrust.org.uk or call Hayley on 07586 128849

4.Get sponsorship
Share your fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues.

5. Complete your challenge
Have fun getting creative

6. Celebrate and relax

If you don’t want to use JustGiving, download our sponsorship form and Gift Aid form to assist your fundraising efforts, and email fundraising@milestonestrust.org.uk to discuss other ways we can support you.

Top tips

  • Promote your challenge regularly and share updates along the way.
  • Make it personal – tell people why you’re raising money for Milestones Trust specifically, do we support a friend or family member?
  • Share photos and videos of your challenge on social media.
  • Always include your JustGiving link so people can give quickly and easily.
