"I've never really done art before - matchstick men was about it. It's good to come to if I'm stressed as once I get into the art, it helps to take all the tension away."
Wayne, Art for Wellbeing member.
It is a place where the group members, grow confidence and self-worth through making, forming friendship’s and support networks. Being based at Easton Community Centre has encouraged and supported individuals in feeling included and a part of a community; bringing them out of isolation and giving a sense of place, and wellbeing.
"We've made it into a very creative area where everyone can come along and make art, meet friends and socialise without any pressure. It also acts as a space to ask questions and talk through things, personal and about what's happening in the world."
